The Art of Photography transcends the visible, aiming for a sensitivity that goes beyond and strives to capture the essence of a moment. Orhan Erkut delved into the depths of this art in 2007, beginning with Basic Photography Training at the Adana Photograph Amateurs Association (AFAD). This training taught him not just how to use a camera but also how to capture a moment or an emotion.
His journey progressed under the guidance of photographer Haluk Uygur at the Baltacı Workshop between 2007 and 2009, altering how he pressed the shutter. He presses the shutter only when he feels the soul of a story or when a frame evokes a distinct emotion in him. The distinction he developed between looking and seeing during this period also significantly contributed to his career as a management consultant.
Each photograph is proof that his journey is just the beginning.
