Orhan Erkut's focus is succession in family businesses. Focusing on this field since 2018, he systematically studied academic literature from the 1960s to today and, blending it with field experience, developed an original model; he gave this body of work concrete form in the SPALDA® Academy, which he founded in 2022. He keeps his distance from the traditional notion of "picking an heir"; he treats succession as a strategic, trustworthy, and transformative development journey that the two generations walk together. He raises the next generation (NextGen) not merely as operational managers but as responsible shareholders who grasp the enterprise as a whole, while preparing the current generation (NowGen) for role transition and retirement, thereby supporting both sides.

With nearly a quarter-century of management-consulting experience since 2002, Orhan Erkut is one of the sector's trusted names. He has worked hands-on in many companies on strategic management, the design of management systems, and corporate governance, contributing directly to business outcomes alongside their management teams. In some of the companies he worked with, he also served as an independent board member. In large-scale transformation he draws on the Four Rooms of Change® model — of which he is a licensed practitioner and a co-founder of its Türkiye practice — as a framework that brings the human and cultural dimension of change together with corporate goals. One of his distinctive strengths in these processes is his command of technology: being able to read companies' technology processes and speak the same language as technical teams makes it easier for solutions to truly work in the field.

Orhan Erkut's executive search practice traces its roots to talent and recruitment work in 2005 and, since 2015, has evolved into an area of concentration. Within E&G Partners, of which he is a co-founder, he runs search projects for companies from Türkiye and many other countries; bringing the holistic perspective of his management-consulting background, he helps companies accurately define the leadership profiles they need, and is recognized as a guiding professional in his field.
