While the current generation struggles to pass on its experience, the next generation wrestles with the fear of failure and the anxiety of proving itself. In this uncertain environment, where standards have not yet formed, our greatest need is a common language and that shared table where we can truly understand one another.

But both the current generation and the next generation have certain fears and concerns. The current generation, for example, is not yet aware of this issue. They are not aware of its importance. They are not exactly aware of when they need to develop the younger ones, because there are not yet clear, widely accepted standards.
They are afraid of being caught unprepared, so they behave in a controlling way. For the reasons I described a moment ago, the current generation sometimes does not know how to pass on its experience. Beyond that, they also have certain concerns about the next generation. That is: will they understand the complexity of the business? Or will they take ownership of it as much as I do, will they care about it?
Should I give them freedom, or should I not let go of discipline? They have these concerns about the current generation during this process as well. So, much like the mistakes a person who has become a parent for the first time has the potential to make while raising a child within the unknown, this process is prone to certain mistakes too.
What I am describing here is actually only part of the picture. While defining this for the current generation, we can talk about similar things for the next generation as well. The next generation also has certain problems of its own. For example, it experiences an identity crisis, because it has been perceived as the bossThe person holding the highest decision-making authority in a business — anyone who founds, buys or inherits it. The title can pass from generation to generation. See in glossary →'s child.
No matter how successful they are, they have thoughts within themselves that proving themselves may perhaps never be possible. They ask, who am I, what is my area of interest? Because they were born into wealth, their perception of risk is different. They have a fear of failure.
Because they will take over a successful family and business. So they also live with the fear of what will happen if I fail. They have other concerns in mind about the current generation as they try to overcome this and step into the business. For one thing, many of them see the current generation's ways of doing business as old-fashioned,
backward, they see it as old school. They ask, what age have we reached, with what technology or what focus are they trying to pull me into this business? They think, for example, that the older generation is unaware of the agenda and current developments. Or they think, I have this much money, why do I still have to work?
So there is actually a need for a mechanism that can turn these thoughts into that communication environment and shared table.
