When we start working with families, we enter this process by analyzing how both the current generation and the next generation look at succession. Over time, the analysis tool we use in this process has developed. Today, in any family business, independent of whether the respondents are the current generation or the next generation, it has become an easily accessible tool for seeing the family's and the company's own situation and for understanding what the requirements in this process are. Members of family businesses can answer this twenty-four-question survey to see where they stand on the dimensions of awareness, willingness, readiness, and courage. After completing the survey, they can reach their reports.
